For mail-in RSVP cards, we like to put a number that corresponds with your master recipient address list in case anyone forgets to write-in their name.

Yes, please put a pencil number on the back of the RSVP card in the upper right hand corner. The number will correspond to the number next to their name from your master recipient address spreadsheet ($1 per RSVP card).

No, I do not want you to write on the back of our RSVP cards. We understand that KFD is not responsible for any RSVP cards that get sent to you without anyone's name written-in.

How would you like us to do your mailing? *

If you need your invites to arrive in less than 3-4 weeks or if you have VIP recipients - you may want to consider hand-delivering, UPS, or getting USPS tracking for those recipients. Check all delivery methods you're interested in below and we'll follow up to discuss details and pricing.

Regular USPS Mail via postage stamps WITH a plastic sleeve. The envelope is placed unsealed inside of a protective plastic sleeve. The postage stamps are placed on the plastic sleeve (not the envelope). For quality control purposes, KFD is unable to mail invites via regular mail without the plastic sleeves. I understand that Katie Fischer Design is not responsible for lost invitations, returned invitations, delayed delivery, if the plastic sleeve gets wrinkled, or if they get damage along the way caused by the USPS.

With this option, guests will see your envelope and calligraphy and your envelopes will arrive in a more timely and protected manner. Pricing for this depends on location and can vary from $9.00-$14.00+ per envelope + a 25% KFD markup to cover the time to photograph each receipt at the post-office for tracking purposes. *Delivers within 2-3 days.

USPS Priority Mail with tracking in flat-rate mailer envelopes. Your envelope will be unsealed and placed inside of a cardboard USPS mailing envelope (refer to the pictures in your stamp mockup). KFD will create mailing labels to apply to the envelope. KFD recommends this option as your envelopes will arrive in a more timely and protected manner. Pricing is $9.85 per envelope + a 25% KFD markup to cover the time creating labels and photographing each receipt at the post-office for tracking purposes. *Delivers within 2-5 days.

USPS Priority Mail with tracking in white stay-flat rate mailer envelopes. Your envelope will be unsealed and placed inside of a cardboard white envelope (refer to the pictures in your stamp mockup). KFD will create mailing labels to apply to the envelope. KFD recommends this option as your envelopes will arrive in a more timely and protected manner. Pricing is $5.00-$10.00+ per envelope + a 25% KFD markup to cover the time creating labels and photographing each receipt at the post-office for tracking purposes. *Delivers within 2-5 days.

Where would you like us to mail from? *

We prefer to do mailings from the small post office located near our working studio in NJ. They know us, they let us use the stamper to hand-cancel the envelopes, and they take extra care for us.

Mail from our small friendly NJ post office. They know us here and we can use the hand-canceler ourselves to make sure your invites get taken care of properly! *This is also the only option for USPS priority mailers.

How would you like us to mail the invitations going outside of the US?

Calculate the postage and add the correct number of stamps (using your stamps and also others, if needed, available at the post office) and then sending them through the mail, like all the others (international USPS mailings can take anywhere from 10 days to 4 weeks to arrive).

Package them in USPS priority flat-mailer and apply a printed label to the front. KFD will fill out custom forms and apply a postage sticker from the Post Office. This adds $25 per envelope + the cost of international postage (international USPS mailings can take anywhere from 10 days to 4 weeks to arrive). NOTE: Receiver will have to pay customs fee if sent via USPS priority.

Apply the selected stamp set to envelope; package suite into box/mailer appropriate for UPS or DHL shipment (recommended).

Please assemble the total quantity that I ordered: (1) please assemble the number that are being mailed out with correct postage, and (2) the overs past the quantity being mailed. But please only put postage on the reply envelopes and leave the outer envelopes without postage. This assembly cost for item 2 will be less than the pricing for item 1.

Please assemble the entire quantity; the ones going in the mail, plus the overs. The pricing will be the total quantity that you ordered multiplied the mailing price per suite that was given to you.

What would you like us to do with your extras (the overs you ordered past the number we're mailing out for you): *

Keep them at the studio and mail out extras for you as they come up. If ones don't make it to the recipient or get returned to you or if you add extras - you'll email us the recipient and address. We'll get them printed or hand-calligraphed and hand-cancel them for you at the post office. The price is: mailing price per piece + calligrapher/printer price per envelope + calligrapher set up fee ($50-$100)/printer set up fee ($125) + shipping of envelope to KFD from printer or calligrapher + KFD fee to go back to the post-office ($75).

TERMS & CONDITIONS *

Katie Fischer Design is not responsible for any errors or mishandling of your envelopes along the way that occur on account of the United States Postal Service (USPS). In most mailings, there will be a percentage of errors by the USPS: envelopes that got lost in the mail, ones that are not forwarded to the requested forwarding address, others that get sent back incorrectly for insufficient postage, those that accidentally get delivered to the return address, deliveries that are delayed, and some that get damaged along the way. Occasionally, the USPS will put your suites through the machine, even though we’ve hand-canceled them and made it clear not to, or mishandle them along the way, which may cause them to rip or arrive to your recipient in poor condition. We are also not responsible for returns on account of an incorrect address entered by you in the spreadsheet you provided to us. We always advise our clients to purchase more suites than you think you will need because we are certain you will need to re-send a few. If you run out and need to order more, we will charge you at cost for the set-up fees, supplies, reprinting, and calligraphy.
